During all three service hours on Sunday morning there is something going on for your kids! We provide excellent nursery, early childhood and elementary age programs up through 5th grade for children by our well-trained staff that love the Lord and desire to see children come to completeness in Jesus. We provide Bible lessons, crafts, music, snack, activities that are all Christ-centered and age appropriate. Lessons cover similar materials as the adults receive from Pastor Gene. Parents are encouraged to discuss the lessons with their children. Check out our times, ages and locations below.
Last week, your child learned “I can serve my neighbors.” Through a fun little skit, Zack chose characters from the audience to play the half-dead traveler, the Good Samaritan, the priests and even the donkey. Your child had a good time with it too! Afterwards we talked about the main question from the text, “Who is my neighbor?” Is it just the kids on our block who we like? Or is our cranky neighbor apart of that group that we are supposed to love as well? The kids got it!
This Sunday is FATHER’S DAY! And how perfect is it that the message for our Grace kids is . . . “I Serve My Family.” Dad’s, get ready to be served this week! We are sending home some fun activities your child can do to serve YOU and the others in your home throughout this week! I really hope they catch on and “serve” hard while they work hard. We looked at the birth story of Moses today and watched as God’s hand lead baby Moses straight into the arms of Pharaoh’s daughter. And because of some quick thinking on Mariam’s part, Moses’ mother ended up getting to take care of baby Moses and getting paid to do it for Pharaoh’s daughter. Mariam really knew how to serve her family!
