High School: On-Going Programs

The following programs happen on a weekly basis:

• Life Groups Sunday nights from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. 

Life Groups are small groups of students that meet weekly to share in each others lives, to celebrate with those who are celebrating and to mourn with those who mourn.  Genesis 2:18 tells us that we are not meant to be alone, so we meet on Sunday nights at 5:30 p.m. in the vault for a time of singing, then head off into groups designed to help us live out the teachings of the Bible with the help of others who have the same goal in mind.

• Bible Study Tuesday nights from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. 

When Jesus stood in front of the Roman official who would order His death, he was accused of "stirring up the people" or causing an uprising (Luke 23:1-5).  This is because Jesus challenged people to rise up against traditions and cultures that were pulling people away from God, towards learning a lifestyle of loving God and loving others.  It is for this reason that we call our Tuesday night Bible study "The Uprising."  We want to continue the uprising that Jesus started so we seek to understand the same truths that Jesus lived and taught in our language so we are able to live it in our lives
